It was officially decided today that Cape Town's almost finished Stadium ... is to be officially named CAPE TOWN STADIUM .... now if I were a cynical person, I might wonder about how many meetings, brain storming sessions and business lunches it took... or more importantly, how much tax payers money has been spent on this re branding exercise .... and that having gone that route, surely they could have then come up with something better than what can only be described as 'the bleedin obvious!!'
Instead .. I will rather stand back and admire the view! Beyond all the rubble & roadworks around Greenpoint at present ... (that somehow looks like it will not be finished before 2015, let alone 2010!)is the back drop of the newly lit,truly stunning 'Cape Town' Stadium. I could not have named it better myself!!
