Lets dance ....

With not much more than 6 months to go until South Africa host the World's biggest event...I have to admit to feeling slightly disappointed about the lack of Football fever. I have written before about how the country was united by the 1995 Rugby Worldcup fairytale .... perhaps I have been hoping for a repeat? Once again it is not about winning... good god, there would need to be a miracle for Bafana Bafana to get any where near the final! I am talking more about the same camaraderie etc.

The last few days though have made me put all my doubts aside, what with all the preparation for the World cup draw that takes place in Cape Town tomorrow, the city is finally in the mood! It has been just a tiny taste of what we have to come next year .... street parties, VIPS in town, the world's media looking down on us and not forgetting the dancing of course!! Yes, incase you did not know, there is even a special South African World cup dance - The Diski dance .....
