I could not let the weekend come to an end, without telling you about my wonderful evening last night. Kenny & Aileen Sword from Edinburgh who started off as 'hotel guests' at Winchester Mansions where I used to work and have since become great friends, took me to dinner at 'on the rocks' restaurant in Blouberg. It has never been particularly amazing, food & service wise, most people go there for the incredible view. However, last night I was pleasantly surprised and with so many people these days being quick to complain about bad service, I feel it important that I mention the food and sevice,(courtesy of Winston!) were both excellent!! I always reserve my final judgement though based on a Restuarants creme brule and theirs, I am pleased to say passed the test with flying colours!! Infact the only blip of the whole evening was that I forgot my camera and could not take a picture of the most amazing sunset I have seen in a while .... it included every shade of purple & orange you can imagine. This review would not be complete without a picture though , so I have stolen this one off the website!
